 Rachel Bilson hits the red carpet at the “Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion” Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4).
The 27-year-old actress wore head-to-toe Bally including a rouched seafoam green silk chiffon strapless sweetheart décolleté dress complimented by Bally accessories. Rachel chose Bally python platform slingbacks and a gold clutch to finish off her look.
Rachel was a guest of Bally Creative Director, Brian Atwood.

The 27-year-old former O.C. actress has been tapped by InStyle magazine to write a monthly column, starting this month.
Ariel Foxman, InStyle editor shared that their readers, “love her particular take on eclectic chic. So I thought, wouldn’t it be fun to connect Rachel with our audience, and give her a place in the magazine to talk directly to women about her styling quirks and fashion obsessions!”

The 27-year-old actress carried around a red umbrella in anticipation for the tonight’s rain storm!
Rachel is expected at this year’s MET Costume Institute Gala. Brian Atwood has created a custom dress for her (she’ll will wear head-to-toe Bally).

Rachel Bilson: InStyles New Fashion Editor!

 Rachel Bilson has scored herself a monthly column as a fashion editor in InStyle.
The Q&A is called “Ask Rachel” and stars with the May 2009 issue (with Jennifer Garner on the cover).
“I am not planning on quitting my day job to be a full-time fashion editor, although I am really enjoying it and it intrigues me very much,” Rachel tells WWD. “I’m actually flattered more than anything that people want to ask me questions about style. I am honored to do it.”
She adds, “I can talk about fashion all day long, and I am an avid InStyle reader so the relationship seemed perfect! This column is the best homework assignment ever!”

The 27-year-old actress just flew in Uxbridge, Canada, where she spent with fiance Hayden Christensen at his family’s farm. This past Sunday, the couple went on a romantic dinner date at Tin Mill restaurant.

 Rachel Bilson and her fiance Hayden Christensen (both wearing rain boots) meet up with Hayden’s mom at a parking lot in Uxbridge, Ontario on Thursday (April 9).
Rachel was seen giving Hayden’s mom a few gifts including a fun pair of rain boots (Hayden helped his mom take off the price tag). Hayden’s mom must have liked the boots — she gave Rachel a kiss on the cheek. Looks like her daughter-in-law’s a keeper!
Back in November, the couple was spotted checking in on the progress of the new farmhouse they are having built in Uxbridge.

Rachel Bilson pledges to stay out of the sun this summer

 Rachel Bilson may have spent a few years in the O.C., but she’s learned her lesson since days spent tanning at the beach as a teen. The star has teamed up with Jergens to promise to get her tan from a bottle this summer and help raise awareness for skin cancer research through the Glow in the Dark initiative.
Rachel talked to PEOPLE.com about her involvement, explaining that “growing up in Southern California, getting tan was a big part of the culture. Now being aware of how bad [tanning] is for your skin, you can still get that look and that glow without harming your body.” Rachel’s favorites include the natural glow Foaming Daily Moisturizer and natural glow Healthy Complexion Daily Facial Moisturizer with SPF 20, which she loves because “you can put it on and you can wear it and be protected.”
