Awards season may still be around the corner, but we've had our eyes on the prize all year. You see, though a grade-A ensemble may seem like less of a production than a film, we know that a blockbuster outfit is truly an achievement. So for this year's best-dressed round-up we wanted to give credit where credit is due and single out the most stellar sartorial performances of 2009. All twelve of these well-dressed winners have played roles in making this year memorable, so we wanted to pay tribute to their particular clothing contributions in our inaugural edition of Who What Wear's Style Awards. So without further delay, the envelopes please? Readers' Choice To kick-off this year's awards, we absolutely had to start with the one woman whose outfits constantly demand a standing ovation. After all, we like to think of Who What Wear as chic-ocracy, and when the people (that's you, dear readers) speak, we listen. This was a banner year for In Style's newest contributor, who managed to look amazing whether she was tooling around town (in Miu Miu and Chanel), or hitting the red carpet in polished fare (such as the Brian Reyes frock she wore to a fashion week event in February). Needless to say, Bilson is undoubtedly on the top of this year's list!

Pepperdine Hosts Post-Screening Conversation with Producers of Waiting for Forever

Continuing it's successful debut semester of Monday night movie screenings, the Center for Entertainment, Media and Culture at Pepperdine University will screen new film Waiting for Forever for the Pepperdine community on Monday, Nov. 30. The movie starts at 7 p.m. in Elkins Auditorium, Malibu, and will be followed by a conversation with James Keach (director/producer) and Trevor Albert (producer).
The producers responsible for Walk the Line and Groundhog Day have teamed up to tell the story of actress Emma Twist (Rachel Bilson) and her childhood friend Will Donner (Tom Sturridge). With her personal and professional life spiraling out of control, Emma returns to her hometown to an unexpected declaration of undying love from carefree spirit, Will. As a street performer with no real home or possessions, his enthusiastic, positive nature is driven by his secret belief that he and Emma are meant to spend their lives together. Will must learn the hard way just how unique his positive nature and view of the world are. "At a time when so many films are bigger, louder and faster, Waiting for Forever arrives as a refreshing alternative: warm, funny, humane," says Craig Detweiler, director of the Center for Entertainment, Media and Culture. "This romantic comedy will restore your faith in love – and the movies!" He adds, "We’re thrilled to host Pepperdine’s talented neighbors, Malibu based producers James Keach and Trevor Albert. They’ve made that rare film that people of all ages will enjoy."

Bilson Plans Family Life Far From Hollywood

Actress RACHEL BILSON has threatened to quit Hollywood and live out her days in the middle of nowhere when she becomes a mum. The former The O.C. star currently spends time in Los Angeles and boyfriend Hayden Christensen's remote Canada farm, and she insists she'll give up life in Tinseltown altogether if she discovers she's pregnant. Bilson says, "When I'm older I really want a family - probably off somewhere really remote. I want to raise my kids where they don't know what a camera following them is like. "I have a seven-year-old sister so aware of paparazzi it's unbelievable. It's too weird for me." Bilson has another very good reason to leave Hollywood behind - her home was ransacked by thieves earlier this year (09). It's believed the actress was a target of the so-called Burglar Bunch, who also raided the homes of Paris Hilton, Audrina Patridge and Lindsay Lohan.
